Helmel's range of horizontal measuring machinea are ideal for the measurement of cam shafts, crankshafts or any multi diameter shaft. Shafts up to 60 inch between centres and 12" diameter can be measured for taper, run-out, hole position,   steps or groove widths.

The Vectoron CMM  systems were originally developed for the motor industry to measure very  for large components such as car body, panels, large castings and engine parts.  The tower and arms are mounted on a extremley rigid trolley type base incorporating levelling and solid  floor mountings. for complete portability around the factory.  Each medel use PC operating systems for highy accurate results of geometric analysis.
