Information is now available on the totally new and highly advanced Surfcorder SE-500 surface finish and profile analyser from Kosaka Laboratories.

  

The SE-500 is available with traverse  options or 50, 100 200mm and a table driver unit to suit all applications and budgets in mechanical and electronic engineerirng and research . Advanced features include easy PC. connection, touch screen control and compatibility has been design into the system to allow existing Surfcorder users to up-date to the SE-500 amplifier. For full specification give our office a call.

Kosaka introduced 'universal' pick-ups with interchangeable styli  many years ago.  This enabled the cost of instruments to be kept down because only one pick-up was supplied,  not individual pick-ups to measure  features like small bores, recess, curves, small land etc.

The Surfcorder SE-1200, SE-1700 and SE-500 models all operate with a single PU-A pick-up accepting  many different types of styli and nosepieces.

A high accuracy mid range surface analyzer with advanced touch screen controlled analyser incorporating a high speed printer. Surface parameters are grouped into  national standards for easy  selection. The Standard instrument has 30mm straightness measuring driver  and analyzer which has magnifications from Vv x 100 to x100,000  and Vhx1 to x1000.  A memory card saves setting progammes such as range, modes such as curved surface measurement, cut-offs  and traverse lengths and the RS232 output links easily to PC's for data storage.  Many options of styli, drivers, stands are available. The Surfcorder SE-1200 roughness instrument is a portable 'metrology' type system with many features found in larger and far more expensive roughness profilers. These include multi-parameter to most world standards, 10 programme memory,  interchangable styli with lvdt pick-up ensuring high accuracy and resolution to 0.001um. The inbuilt traverse datum and levelling filters make measuement in skidless mode extremely easy to operate,  even very difficult surfaces such as curved surfaces,  small bore, lands, shoulders and deep recesses.  The high speed printer ensures your measurements and profile are recorded, a pc.link via rs232 outputs is available as a low cost option.

The SE-1200 is free standing but a support column and base may be supplied if requested.  

 

The Surfcorder SE-3500K instrument is a 3D version of the PC windows controlled SE-3500. The instrument incocrporates  a highly accurate 100mm transverse drive table and Kosaka 3D software which covers most worldwide roughness parameters in us today.  The unit is highly versatile for general 3D control of surface roughness at most levels.  Its high specification include vertical magnifications up to x 100,000 and horizontal to x5000 with a sampling interval of down to 1um.  Both SE-3500 series instruments  use standard Surfcorder  pick-ups and styli.
